This is my first battery operated chain saw. I have used petrol saws for years.
This saw needs assembly on arrival. This is straight forward although if this is your first chainsaw you will need a bit of patience to learn untangling the chain, fitting the guide bar, getting the tension of the chain correct etc.
It’s surprisingly powerful for a battery tool..but don’t expect to use it continuously for more than 30 mins without recharge.
Very quiet when compared to a petrol saw.
I cut the logs in the pic with ease.
Don’t forget chains that contact the ground / soil / stones etc will suffer and need sharpening. Still need to wear correct ppe of course.
A good product as you’d expect from Makita.
